Drums in Blue Suburbia (~2008–2009), which he co-founded as an equal with Luke Walton and Jordan Sorokin, and in Mannequin before it, co-founded with Walton and Jonathan Gillie. He also played drums in the La Costa Canyon High School pit band for Back to the 80s, with Luke Walton on guitar. That show was not at USC, and the photos have no date. The archived lukewaltonband.com discography names him on The Other Side; the deleted Wikipedia article also listed him among past members of The Luke Walton Band.

Zach Freeman co-founded Blue Suburbia as an equal with Luke Walton (guitar, vocals) and Jordan Sorokin (bass) and drummed on its 2009 EP The Other Side. The trio's lineup is on public record via the archived lukewaltonband.com discography. The Battle of the Bands win is confirmed by the 2009 Coast News profile; the deleted Wikipedia article listed the same win (Wayback capture, June 18, 2026).

The deleted article also listed Freeman among past members of The Luke Walton Band (alongside Sorokin). After Blue Suburbia he went to Texas Christian University. Wikidata Q15044350 carries no lineup. Public profiles include Veterans Moving America (founder) and LinkedIn.

Before Blue Suburbia, two Mannequin photos from Luke Walton's parents' garage (~2007) show the start of the band he co-founded with Walton and Gillie. The first practice is left to right Jonathan Gillie on guitar, Walton on guitar, and Freeman on drums, with no bass player. A later candid in the same garage is left to right Freeman, Walton, and Gillie. San Francisco, circa 2014: left to right Freeman, Walton, Gillie, and Andrew Hoover. Hoover has no other credit on this site.
