Jonathan Gillie played guitar in Mannequin, the original-song band he co-founded with Luke Walton and Zach Freeman at La Costa Canyon (2006–2008); Gillie (guitar), Walton (guitar), Freeman (drums), and Peter Rosenbaum (bass) were the lineup. That roster is Luke archive memory; it was also listed on the English Wikipedia article for The Luke Walton Band, deleted July 16, 2026 (Wayback capture, June 18, 2026). The surviving structured record, Wikidata Q15044350, carries no lineup, and no contemporaneous school or press source has been located. Two photos from Walton's parents' garage, in the photo archive and dated about 2007, show the start of the band. The first practice is left to right Gillie (guitar), Walton (guitar), and Zach Freeman (drums), with no bass player. A later candid in the same garage is left to right Freeman, Walton, and Gillie. Peter Rosenbaum is not in either frame. A later photo, San Francisco circa 2014, is left to right Zach Freeman, Walton, Gillie, and Andrew Hoover. Hoover has no other credit on this site. Mannequin followed Casey McSocial (Walton's first band) and ran in parallel with his solo EPs. Mannequin finished second in La Costa Canyon's Battle of the Bands, the one non-win in a three-band run: Casey McSocial (win), then Mannequin (second), then Blue Suburbia (win). The set included a Katy Perry cover. That placement is Luke archive memory; the deleted Wikipedia article listed it the same way. No school yearbook, ASB, or student-newspaper source has been located. Round by round: Catalog → LCC Battle of the Bands. Mannequin left no located release, recording, or press artifact of its own, so it has no Collaborators page.

Gillie later served on the advisory board of Surmado, Inc. (Luke F. Walton, founder), alongside Jordan Sorokin, Ph.D..
