Can't Imagine Feeling Better
Peak Little Hug absurd joy: banana-peel skip, Obama OG, ride a llama with the Dalai Lama through seven seas: can't imagine feeling better than I do right now.

Track eight on Little Hug (April 2021), also on Big Hug (October 2021), as a standalone single, and on Live from the Void. Luke solo. The title is the EP’s thesis: not fine, but right now, impossibly, yes.
The joy is built entirely from cartoon resilience and nonsense. Verse one trips over a banana and gets up grinning, helped along by weed named Obama OG; verse two saddles up for a pilgrimage with the Dalai Lama (we ride through the seven seas / getting karma knowing dharma born new). Not Buddhism homework, just spiritual fan-fiction. Between them the hook stacks until it overflows into better better better, the grin pushed past the point of credibility, which is the joke and also the point after a pandemic record.
Official music video on YouTube, also on /music/#selected-videos.
On Little Hug it sits between I’m Addicted to Baths and I Am a Lobster, I Am a Barnacle; on Big Hug it carries the EP’s seed into the larger LP alongside reworked If I Could Only and Debby (Extended). Opposite energy from A Good Life on MMM: bottled grin versus earnest mantra.
Written, performed, and mixed by Luke Francis Walton. Mastered by Riley Knapp.
