Lou Roy is an American singer-songwriter and producer based in Los Angeles, relaunched from the Huxlee moniker in late 2019 (parents' middle names). She describes her sound as deliberately anti-genre: acoustic balladry crashed into synth-pop, a cappella chants, alt-country, and quirky electronic pop: with Fiona Apple, Joni Mitchell, and HAIM in the songwriting DNA. Debut EP Your Friend, (2019); full-length Pure Chaos (2022, co-produced with Sarah Tudzin of Illuminati Hotties); Winter Versions (2022) strips the LP acoustically. Singles include Uppercut, Valkyrie, and U.D.I.D.

Roy's Scoobert Doobert credits span the I era. Roy sings background vocals on six LP tracks (the cycle, ez pz, watercolor sky, only the beginning, see you again?, and golden state of mind), part of the album's “everything sings” stack with Nicole McCabe (bass clarinet) and Bubby Lewis (bass). Earlier, she is the feature vocal on angeleyes (Aug 12, 2022, ABBA cover, ISRC QZMEP2221941).

Roy is also credited vocal arranger and background vocals on MUNA's Dancing On The Wall (2026) per streaming metadata.
