With Lara Johnston Complete

Also credited as Lara Lucille

Vocalist, songwriter, and daughter of Doobie Brothers co-founder Tom Johnston — now performing as Lara Lucille (Facebook). Luke played electric and acoustic guitar with Lara Johnston across touring and major support dates spanning roughly 2012–2015 — the central bridge in Luke's early live career, touching The Doobie Brothers, Gregg Allman, Summerfest, B.R. Cohn / Sonoma, Laid Back Festival, Atlanta Symphony Hall, Macon's Grand Opera House, and a 2014 Canada run.

Lara Johnston now performs as Lara Lucille — current public profile: facebook.com/LaraLucilleSings. Historical credits on this site (Fresh Fruit, Out of My Mind, setlist.fm touring dates) remain under Lara Johnston.

Lara Johnston is a vocalist, songwriter, and live performer whose father is Tom Johnston, co-founder of The Doobie Brothers. That family connection was the direct line into the Doobie Brothers touring world. Luke played electric and acoustic guitar in Lara's band throughout this arc — the role consistent across all dates.

The window is roughly 2012–2015: between Luke's USC years and the FEiN recording chapter. Through Lara's band, Luke's stage map grew to include The Doobie Brothers directly (Lara's band joined the Doobies for "Listen to the Music" and sometimes other songs), Gregg Allman support tours, and a string of major festival and venue dates across North America and Canada.

Setlist.fm records corroborate several dates. Luke's public Instagram serves as a first-person archive of the period.

Studio lane: Fresh Fruit (FEiN x Lara Johnston) (September 15, 2015) — public SoundCloud credit block names Luke Walton (guitar/keys), Brandon Woodward (drums/percussion/keys), Lara Johnston (vocals), and produced and recorded by FEiN at Tiny Giant. Unreleased co-write: Out of My Mind.
