Luke played electric and acoustic guitar with Lara Johnston across touring and support dates spanning roughly 2012–2015: The Doobie Brothers, Gregg Allman, Summerfest, B.R. Cohn / Sonoma, Laid Back Festival, Atlanta Symphony Hall, Macon's Grand Opera House, and a 2014 Canada run.

Lara Johnston is a vocalist, songwriter, and live performer whose father is Tom Johnston, co-founder of The Doobie Brothers. Lara's band opened on Doobie Brothers tour dates. Luke played electric and acoustic guitar in Lara's band, the same role on every date.
The dates run roughly 2012–2015, between Luke's USC years and the FEiN records. With Lara's band, Luke played Doobie Brothers dates (Lara's band joined the Doobies on stage for "Listen to the Music" and sometimes other songs), Gregg Allman support tours, and festival and venue dates across North America and Canada.
