Lyrics
Layin' on your sofa I think my phone is dead but I might leave it that way I'm no Casanova You're the only light that I need every day Don't go away I'm here to stay On holiday No plans for the weekend Just you and me by the sea and daydreaming Nothing on the internet that's shiny and new I only wanna spend my time with you I could travel 'round the world looking for something to do But I only wanna spend my time with you Yeah, I only wanna spend my time with you Oh, I only wanna spend my time with you With you With you Let's do nothing together You can call me whenever There's nothing that I'll rather do Nothing forever, we could go forever Be happier than ever with you Nothing in particular In particular In particular to do Nothing on the internet that's shiny and new I only wanna spend my time with you I could travel 'round the world looking for something to do But I only wanna spend my time with you Yeah, I only wanna spend my time with you Oh, I only wanna spend my time with you With you With you With you With you
Phone dead on purpose: no shiny internet, no world tour: only wanna spend time with u, doing nothing together forever.

The opener names the bit: I think my phone is dead but I might leave it that way. The chorus completes the thought, and it isn’t “I miss you” or “I want you,” it’s nothing on the internet that’s shiny and new. On a travel record full of Shinkansen and PCH, this is the song that picks the sofa, stacking nothing in particular until nothing sounds like a destination.
Also on Catalog as 2024 single.
