Okashi Na Kimochi

OKAME is the post-CHAI project of twin frontwomen MANA and KANA, launched in 2025 around the phrase “revolution through music.”

After CHAI’s 2024 breakup, MANA and KANA again took up the mic and instruments and started OKAME in September 2025: Rooftop frames it as ex.CHAIのMANA・KANAによる新プロジェクトOKAME; MARZEL as 元CHAIの双子フロントマンMANA・KANAによる新音楽プロジェクト“OKAME” pursuing ノスタルポップ (Nostalpop). A SCENE has MANA on the OKAME name and the meaning 音楽で革命を: revolution through music: and on twin identity: born as twins, raised as twins, succeeded as twins.

おかしなきもち (“Okashina Kimochi”) was the first single, digital release October 1, 2025 (Spotify · Apple Music single · DEBUT album version), with the paid fan club Futago Club launching alongside the project (NiEW). The Apple Music credits pane lists Scoobert Doobert as Mixing Engineer, OKAME as Producer, and MANA and KANA as Mastering Engineers. The same credit appears on the standalone single and on the DEBUT album cut (track 1). TuneCore Japan lists Scoobert Doobert as ミキシングエンジニア; producer, guitar, bass, and drums are OKAME.

Luke Francis Walton mixed this track and the full DEBUT album (Feb 2026). Also with MANA and KANA: KOMAGOME: WE CAN’T DOLL and CHAHHAN.
