Rolling Stone Japan and ORICON frame WE CAN'T DOLL as CHAI解散後初プロデュース: MANA/KANA's first production credit after the band ended. Uta-Net also lists the single as 週刊ナイナイミュージック ending theme. KOMAGOME asked the twins to help aim for a new KAWAII; B-PASS describes the result as underground pop (punk, funk, pop fused), distinct from their idol past.
