Track six on Dragon Ball $d, feat. Nick Belcher (opera vocals). Luke wrote, played, mixed, and mastered; Nick Belcher (Nicholas James Belcher) enters here as the LP’s operatic voice, first of his three features on the record. Los Angeles singer-songwriter (USC Popular Music), lead vocalist of Hammer City / The Hammers (Heartquake Saga EP, 2016), and the voice of Friend Like Mine on Phineas and Ferb. That’s why DBZ suddenly gets opera: not a random guest but a Disney-channel-adjacent belter dropped onto Namek, after three Babidi & Gokudaxij cartoon features.

The spoken opening is the canon monologue (it is my anger that has made me blind to the truth), the prince admitting what pride blocked. Then the sung line, twice, simple and devastating: you’re better than me Kakarot / you are the best. Not rivalry trash-talk anymore, just surrender to fact, scored like Verdi. The closing AHHHH (powering up to Super Saiyan) is a stage direction in the lyrics, and the medley folds lament, Frieza, and Super Saiyan into one emotional peak. Pairs with Prince of All Saiyans as before/after of Vegeta’s arc.

Next: Ally to Good, Nightmare to You / Goku or Jesus.

Written, performed, mixed, and mastered by Luke Francis Walton. Featured vocals by Nick Belcher (opera). Album art by Grizzard Graphics.

Lyrics
It is my anger
That has made me blind to the truth for so long
I see it now
This day has made it all too clear

(Sung:)
You're better than me Kakarot
You are
The best

You're better than me Kakarot
You are
The best

AHHHH (powering up to Super Saiyan)
