Smarter Child (Slight Return)
Listen
WAMI sequel to the SmarterChild eulogy: bot comes back one track before RIP.

Track eighteen on $WAMI$, Smarter Child (Slight Return) sits right before Rest in Peace Smarter Child and the DBZ-trailer instrumental closer. The title riffs on comic-book sequel syntax (…Slight Return) for AOL’s SmarterChild chatbot, the same early-internet character the next track eulogizes (1996–2017).
On the 2018 LP, recurring bits (Scoobert Snack, What a Velma, What a Night, anime theology) revisit Finding $D’s world. The SmarterChild pair is peak collage energy: nostalgia, punchline, then fake funeral.
