Enter, the Ginyu Force
Dragon Ball $d Ginyu Force roll call: Recoome, Burter, Jeice, Guldo, Ginyu: fight as one together, Captain Ginyu snatching bodies with no sound.
Listen: SpotifyApple Music
Track five on Dragon Ball $d, feat. Babidi & Gokudaxij (Taylor James / J MESA and Eric Radloff). Luke wrote, played, mixed, and mastered; they sing the feature. Pure entrance music: the visual album gives Captain Ginyu his own chapter, while the LP keeps the squad intro tight. Third Babidi & Gokudaxij feature in a row after Prince of All Saiyans and Namek.
It’s a roll call, one member per grunt (I am Recoome / I am Burter / I’m Jeice / Guldo! / Ginyu), the team motto snapped into syllables, then Ginyu’s signature creep on the hook: snatching bodies with no sound, body-swap as silent horror. No exposition required if you watched Toonami. (Toriyama named the whole squad after refrigerated dairy, so the menace was always a little ridiculous.)
Next: Vegeta’s Lament / Lord Frieza / Super Saiyan, where Nick Belcher enters on opera and the tone shifts.
Written, performed, mixed, and mastered by Luke Francis Walton. Featured vocals by Taylor James (Babidi) and Eric Radloff (Gokudaxij). Album art by Grizzard Graphics.
