Jamie Drake is an LA-based singer-songwriter whose debut Everything's Fine drew national press: NPR on Redwood Tree, PopMatters on the debut's charm, Flood on Oh Well Oh Well, Atwood and AudioFemme on the LP's pop-and-cinematic blend. Bandcamp carries the full discography including New Girl (the remix source track).
The Scoobert relationship is two lanes: (1) co-write + feature on Meteor Shower, track seven on Moonlight Beach, Walton/Drake writers, Drake guest vocal, Walton mix; (2) remix client on New Girl (Scoobert Doobert Remix) (Apr 14, 2023, Antifragile Music). @jamiethedrake announced the remix Apr 10, 2023 (Molly Tuttle Design art).
