Stop Political Spam Texts
Route political campaign texts to Junk. Nothing leaves your phone.
Political campaign texts are relentless. This app targets obvious campaign, fundraising, polling, and election texts from unknown senders and sends them to Junk — locally, with no account, no subscription, and no server.
How it works
- Install the app and follow the in-app setup guide.
- Enable Filter Unknown Senders in Settings → Apps → Messages → Unknown & Spam, and choose this filter.
- Filter runs on-device. Likely political texts from unknown numbers go to Junk; contacts are untouched.
What you get
- Political classifier built in. Tuned for campaign, fundraising, polling, ballot-measure, PAC, party, and election texts — not a generic keyword box you maintain yourself.
- Unknown senders only. iOS never routes texts from your contacts through the filter. People you know stay in your inbox.
- Junk, not delete. Filtered texts land in Junk under Unknown Senders. They are still there if you want to read them.
- Your rules. Normal or Aggressive strictness, category toggles, custom blocked and allowed terms, and an in-app message tester.
Privacy-first by design
No analytics, no ads, no network calls in the filter extension. Message content is never sent to a server and never stored. Preferences live in a local App Group container shared only between the app and its filter extension.
The app does not favor any party or ideology — political categories are filtered equally.
