Embody feat. FEiN (3), a Walton/Woodward topline on London producer Embody’s single Remember Us (Extended Mix) (June 16, 2016). Discogs: Armada Deep ARDP149 · File/MP3 320 kbps · Netherlands · Electronic / Deep House · 4:17 · distributed by Armada Music B.V. · ISRC NLF711603322 · barcode 8718522095665. Official video. FEiN’s only major DJ topline to land on a Dutch dance imprint, previewed on Don Diablo’s Hexagon Radio before release. Remember Us (Re-Edit) (2021, Armada / The Bearded Man, Don Diablo’s label), separate DSP release; Walton and Woodward remain lyrics and melody co-writers (same FEiN topline as 2016). FEiN featured vocal on both; Embody production / re-edit arrangement is his lane, not Luke’s production credit.

Released sixteen days after Little Homes (May 31, 2016), same FEiN summer: concept LP at Tiny Giant, then a deep-house feature on Armada Deep.

What FEiN brought to the slot is the move the song turns on: the bridge image isn’t a jump, it’s the clarity from the ledge. No one will remember us is not a nihilist toast but the memento mori that buys the dance floor. The second verse refuses comfort (no need for you to comfort me / at all) and exits on at all, no chorus return. Topline as philosophy, not hook factory.

Lyrics and melody by Luke Francis Walton and Brandon Michael Woodward (FEiN). FEiN featured vocal on Embody: Remember Us (Extended Mix). Armada Deep ARDP149 · Netherlands · Jun 16, 2016 · · barcode 8718522095665 (Discogs). Remember Us (Re-Edit) 2021, same lyrics/melody co-write; Armada / The Bearded Man.

Lyrics
Find me staring off a bridge
Perching on the edge like I can float away
But in this moment I can see
The impermanence of everything
No one will care what we do
In time no one will remember us
This body soon will break down
So why don't we drink til we've had enough
Find me underneath the lights
Dancing through the night until our time is up
My mind clear as it can be,
No need for you to comfort me
At all
