Between Dreams

Between Dreams, debut album by Nina Francis (October 7, 2017). Written by Nina Francis; produced by Luke Walton and Brandon Woodward at Tiny Giant Recording; mixed and mastered by Frank Rosato (bonus He Was Talking to Me recorded by Chris Sampson), Bandcamp. Eleven originals: jazzy, guitar-led singer-songwriter material in the Norah Jones orbit.

Francis is a recognized San Diego artist — official site leads with 2020 San Diego Music Awards Best Singer-Songwriter; Times of San Diego also lists the win. USC Thornton Popular Music (2014) after Bishop’s School; San Diego Reader on studying with Randy Newman and Lamont Dozier. The April 2014 USC Thornton Pop Showcase at the Troubadour put FEiN, Nina Francis, and Nick Belcher on the same senior bill, the broader USC orbit behind later Boomerang and this album. Post-USC: Music Box, Belly Up, Java Joe’s residency.
