A New Word Every Day

Private. No account. Nothing leaves your phone.

A privacy-first iPhone vocabulary app and Home Screen widget. One rare, useful English word a day in beautiful variable type and a palette you choose — no account, no server, no tracking.

How it works

  1. Install the app and add the widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen.
  2. Calibrate on first launch with a short swipe deck (Know / Still learning) so words match your level.
  3. Learn daily — star words you want to keep, study them optionally, or export to Anki.

Built for discovery

Privacy-first by design

No analytics, no ads, no network calls at runtime. Stars, difficulty, theme, and review schedules live in a local App Group container shared only between the app and its widget. The bundled word list is public domain (CC0).
