A New Word Every Day

Private. No account. Nothing leaves your phone.

A privacy-first iPhone vocabulary app and Home Screen widget. One rare, useful English word a day in beautiful variable type and a palette you choose, no account, no server, no tracking.

How it works

  1. Install the app and add the widget to your Home Screen or Lock Screen.
  2. Calibrate on first launch with a short swipe deck (Know / Still learning) so words match your level.
  3. Learn daily: star words you want to keep, study them optionally, or export to Anki.

Built for discovery

Privacy-first by design

No analytics, no ads, no network calls at runtime. Stars, difficulty, theme, and review schedules live in a local App Group container shared only between the app and its widget. The bundled word list is public domain (CC0).
